I’ve provided fitness services in the DC Metropolitan area for over three years, and have over 5 years of experience working with seniors and rehabilitative clients. Their goals have included more independence, pain free movement, improved energy, weight loss, and increased stamina. I have worked specifically with clients who have had health conditions including high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, chronic pain, knee surgery, back surgery, and whiplash.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boston College in 2017. While at BC, I became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise in 2015. Additionally, I held an internship with Peak Performance Physical Therapy in Arlington, MA.
I obtained my Weight Management Specialist certification in 2017 and my Medical Exercise Specialist certification in 2019, both through the American Council on Exercise. I recently received advanced training through the Postural Restoration Institute in Postural Respiration.
I am also a practicing Registered Nurse in Washington, D.C. and work with patients undergoing surgeries that include joint replacement, spinal fusion, wound healing, and amputation.
